This project was the remodelling of the main HOM area at the Canadian high commission. Our works involved the removal and reconditioning of 3no fan coil units. The replacement of a heat recovery unit and renewal of the entire CHW, LTHW pipework and ducting services serving this area.

This project had extremely high security measures in place which added to the difficulty, especially with logistics. The ceiling space was very congested and required good co-ordination between the different services and disciplines.

SOME OF THE TASKS THAT WE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION:
  • Freezing of CHW and LTHW services to allow valves to be fitted
  • Installation of ventilation ductwork and grilles
  • Installation of CHW and LTHW pipework services
  • Thermal insulation
  • Flushing and chemical cleaning of pipework
  • Commissioning and balancing of ventilation and hydraulic systems
  • Fitting of MVHR and heater battery
  • Domestic water services to kitchen area
