    £374,000

This Project involved the reconfiguration of the existing plant room and the replacement of the existing domestic services pipework at the 11 storey Barclays head office in Poole. The building was occupied for the duration of the works which added a good degree of difficulty. This also meant that a lot of work was completed out of hours.

The boilers and associated pipework in the plant room were re-configured to give a more efficient output, reducing the existing number of boilers from 14 to 7.

The whole of the existing galvanised pipework serving various toilet blocks and sinks on each floor of the building were replaced with new copper pipework

SOME OF THE TASKS THAT WE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION:
  • Draining down of LTHW system
  • Reconfiguration of plant room LTHW steel pipework 3”- 10”
  • New boiler shunt pumps fitted
  • Replacement of valves on all secondary circuits
  • Installation of new commissioning valves on secondary circuits
  • Replacement of hot and cold water services throughout the building
  • Temporary domestic services
